Process Technician

Type: Direct Hire 

Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday – 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

                  3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday – 10:30 pm to 7:00 am

Pay Rate: $26 – $30

Job Overview

Perform startups on production molds and troubleshooting of existing jobs to develop optimum molding process, with a focus on continuous improvement. 

Duties

• Correct and/or optimize process related issues as directed by the Shift Supervisor.

• Daily startups of production molds and establishment of molding processes.

• Perform mold setups and changes on an as needed basis.

• Assist with daily preventative maintenance on all molds currently in production such as cleaning and greasing.

• Setup and adjustment of robot programs as needed.

• Perform process troubleshooting and samples as directed by Shift Supervisor.

• Keep Shift Supervisor informed of problematic molding conditions or equipment.

• Assist Process Engineers with sampling when required.

• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the manufacturing area.

• Perform other duties deemed necessary by Shift Supervisor or Management to achieve production requirements.

• Other duties may be assigned.
