Material Handler -3rd Shift

Type: Direct Hire 

Schedule: 3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday – 10:30 pm to 7:00 am

Pay Rate: $20 – $21 

Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Drug Test / Authorized to work in the U.S.

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining appropriate material levels at molding presses to ensure continuous operation.  Clean material handling system at job change. 

Duties

• Verify that the correct material is being used by comparing the material specified on the job order with the material labeled on the container at the press and/or in the staging area.

• Ensure that the proper material and material-handling equipment is available and maintained throughout the job.

• Accurately update the lot number on material containers at the press or staging area. 

• Keep hoppers filled and grinders emptied at all times.

• Keep materials covered at all times to prevent contamination.

• Monitor regrind material and grinder condition at presses and report any problems to Foreman. 

• Inform the Shift Supervisor of any material related problems or potential problems as they might occur.

• Conscious of the safety, and quality of all equipment, products, and fellow employees. 

• Keep material information accurately updated at presses.

• Pass down information on any problems or short-term upcoming changes to the oncoming shift.

• Other duties may be assigned.
