Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with customers, vendors, and freight carriers
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation
• Enter customer orders and receiving transactions into the company's MRP/ERP system
• Verify part status, production progress, and inventory information
• Provide customers with updates regarding order status, production progress, and shipment schedules
• Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions
• Work closely with production, quality, and customer service teams to support on-time delivery
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate issues promptly to customers and management
• Assist with other shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or customer service preferred
• Manufacturing environment experience is a plus
• Experience using MRP or ERP systems preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong customer communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
• Bi-LIngual Prefered
