Finisher (small parts)

Location: South Holland, IL

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour base hourly guarantee + piecework (earn more based on production), 30 mins lunch (unpaid) and two 10 min breaks (paid)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Assignment Type: Temp to hire

Position Overview

Our client is seeking detail-oriented individuals for a Small Parts Finisher role in the Finishing Department. This position involves operating finishing machines to cut and shape small abrasive products to precise manufacturing specifications. This is a piecework-based role offering strong earning potential for high performers.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Operate finishing machines to cut and finish small parts to required specifications

• Monitor product quality to ensure proper size, shape, and finish

• Perform routine measurements to maintain consistency and accuracy

• Maintain steady production output to maximize earnings

• Record production totals and follow work order requirements

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

• Good measuring skills

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Motivated to work in a performance-based (piecework) pay structure
