Job Title: Final Assembler

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay: $18.50 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Final Assembler to support our production team. Under the direction of Manufacturing Supervisors and Group Leads, this role is responsible for assembling products, following work instructions, and supporting overall production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble related products according to work orders.

• Identify and gather the necessary components required for each assembly.

• Retrieve components from the production area as needed.

• Use a scanner or keyboard to enter production data into the Tango system

• Visually inspect component parts for defects before and during assembly.

• Follow written and verbal work instructions to assemble a limited variety of products.

• Use basic manual assembly techniques to complete the assembly process.

• Operate manual tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and automatic hand tools (e.g., air screwdrivers, impact wrenches) as required.

• Check the alignment and fit of component parts to ensure proper function.

• Make necessary adjustments to meet quality and operational standards.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred.

• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.

• Proficiency in using both manual and automatic hand tools.

• Ability to stand up to 95% of the workday (approx. 7.5 hours)

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
