FABRICATION WELDER – 2ND SHIFT 

Rate of Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour (paid weekly) 
Schedule:   2nd Shift – Monday thru Friday: 3:45pm to 12:15am 
Location:  Carol Stream
Requirements: Resume / Interview / Drug Test

JOB SUMMARY
The primary tasks of the Fabrication Welder involve building machine frames and  components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for  transport. 
MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet  metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Bea
• Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks 
Grinding and finishing completed products 
• Perform quality checks on finished components 
• Installing finished components into machine structures 
• Disassembling machines for painting and shipping 
• Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes

DESIRED SKILLS
 MIG welding and/or fabrication experienceprefer more than 1 year
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints 
Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus
