Position Title: Fabricator

Location: Elmhurst, IL   

Position type:   Temp to hire

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday thru Friday: 6:30am to 3pm Monday  (Occasional  Saturday Overtime is mandatory)

Our client is a premier designer/manufacturer of customized process water chillers for medical and laboratory applications located in Elmhurst, IL is hiring a Fabricator for  the 1st shift.

Job Description:  The candidate will be fabricating parts for the assembly process; cutting welding, and grinding metal, installing fittings and insulating tanks. 

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to read a ruler

• Ability to MIG/TIG weld, comfortable with torches (certification not required).

• Knowledge of how to use hand tools, tin snips, screw drivers, hammers, etc.

• Comfortable using power tools; saws, grinders, drivers, drills, etc.

• Able to lift 50-70 Lbs.

• Communicate issues in a timely manner

• Have excellent follow-through and follow-up skills

• Other assigned tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Good mechanical skills

• Good interpersonal, organizational & listening skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to write and speak effectively with employees throughout the organization
