LEAD QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Temp to Hire Opportunity
Location: Wood Dale, IL
Schedule: Monday thru Friday – 1st shift 7:30am to 4pm

PAY: $25.00
SUMMARY
The Lead Inspector will ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials go through the proper levels of inspection, according to both the client’s specifications and ISO 9000 & AS9120 standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership to outgoing and/or incoming inspection teams.
Ensure incoming and outgoing material is processed according to IAW ISO 9000, AS9120 and the client’s internal processes and Procedures
Verify all incoming materials are correct as to count and quality
Perform Origin Inspections IAW US Government rules and regulations.
Accept incoming materials into the ERP system
Administer effective training and on the job training of Quality Control inspectors.
Assist Quality Manager with DCMA Chicago Source Inspections and reviewing / updating department standards.
Interface with different departments internally and outside organizations.
Ability to read and implement government specifications/requirements.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
FAA A&P License is a plus but not required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Quality inspection experience is required.
